Ingredients
- 4 - egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tarter
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 1 cup pecans, in pieces
- 1 cup coconut flaked
- 3 cups corn flakes cereal
How To Make corn flake macaroons

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Step 2In a large mixing bowl, beat egg whites until nice and foamy. Stir in vanilla and cream of tarter. Very gradually add in sugar, beating mixture until stiff and glossy. It will hold peaks when ready.

Step 3Fold in nuts, coconut and corn flakes until mixed well. Drop mixture by rounded tablespoons onto cookie sheets sprayed with Pam or use parchment paper.

Step 4Bake about 14-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove immediately from cookie sheets and cool on wire racks

Step 5Note: many variations for this, chocolate chips, crushed peppermint candy...
