7 cwhite sugar

2 cwater or juice from fruit

2 boxcherry jello, 3 ounce

6 cwater

2 cclear jel

How To Make canned cherry pie filling

1Put sugar, water and jello in pan and Boil 1 minute - stirring all the time

2ADD: water and clear jel; Cook until clear - will be very thick. Will scorch easily - STIR!

3ADD: cherries Put into canning jars - seal up and process 20 min. in hot water bath. Note: Can use frozen cherries.

4TIP: This recipe can be used for other fruits also. You may not need as much sugar, adjust accordingly. Use different flavored jello to match fruit used.
