1 boxyellow cake mix

1/2 coil

1/3 cevaporated milk

1 2/3 cconfectioners sugar

1 pkgvanilla caramels

1/3 cbutter
-
6 ozpackage semi-sweet chocolate chips
How to Make Candy Bar Cookies
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Crust:
Combine cake mix, oil, and egg in a bowl..use pastry blender. Spread evenly over bottom of 13 x 9 baking pan.
Bake 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes - Combine caramels and evaporated milk in a double boiler until melted stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in confectioners sugar and spread over warm crust.
- Melt chocolate in double boiler and spread thinly over caramel
- Refrigerate and cut into bars when cool
