Ingredients

stick of butter
1 c
peanut butter
2 c
powdered sugar
12 oz
bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 oz
unsweetened chocolate square

How to Make BUCKEYES

Step-by-Step

  • 1With electric mixer cream butter, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until smooth. Refrigerate over night or for several hours but over night works best.
  • 2Form peanut butter into small-medium ball and place on a cookie sheet covered in wax paper. insert tooth picks into each one of the peanut butter balls. Freeze for 30-45 minutes.
  • 3Microwave both chocolates and some parfine wax shavings in a small microwave safe sauce pan melt until smooth with no lumps. Dip the peanut butter balls into the chocolate using the toothpick as a handle. after cooled pull buckeyes off of wax paper and place on a pan. Allow to cool and the chocolate to set overnight.
