sugar

cornstarch
1 qt
milk
vanilla to taste

Step-by-Step

  • 1Beat eggs well; add sugar with cornstarch. Stir in milk.
  • 2Cook in a double boiler, stirring constantly. Cook until the custard coats spoon.
  • 3Cool and add vanilla to taste. Keep refrigerated.
