big ole bill's cinnamon streusel coffee cake
This is the best coffee cake I have ever tasted. You can substitute chocolate chips for the nuts or try your own combinations.

Ingredients
- FOR THE CAKE
- 3/4 cup softened butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- FOR THE STREUSEL
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- FOR THE GLAZE
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2-3 tablespoons heavy cream

Step 1Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2In a mixing bowl cream, the sugar and butter together. Add the eggs and mix until combined. Add the sour cream and vanilla and mix well.

Step 3Mix all cake's dry ingredients together and add to previous mixture in the bowl. Mix only enough until it is combined. The batter will appear slightly thick.

Step 4Put all streusel ingredients in a bowl, and mix with a fork until combined. It will be sticky.

Step 5Grease a 9 X 13 pan. Spread 1/2 the cake batter evenly in the pan, sprinkle 1/2 the streusel over the top. Drop the remaining batter by using a spoon over the top. Spread as evenly as you can. Cover with the remaining streusel.

Step 6Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Take the cake out of the oven.

Step 7Drizzle the glaze over the top of the baked cake while it is still warm.
