aunt susie's gooey butter cake
My family is from St. Louis and family members have been making this recipe for years. I think my Aunt originally got it from my Grandmother Stuber or her sister Aunt Emo; Aunt Emo has long since passed but Grandmother turned 102 in January. My Aunt passed this down to me when I asked for some of the family recipes. This is very rich and sweet you don't need a big piece, but it's easy to put together and is great at potlucks.
