apricot bars
This is another great recipe that I found on one of my favorite websites called Heavenly Homemakers. I love how it includes whole grains & healthy fats.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup milk or buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups whole wheat flour (i used freshly ground)
- 1 1/2 cups oats
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 3/4 cup dried apricots, cut into small pieces
How To Make apricot bars

Step 1Combine the honey & butter in a bowl.

Step 2Add baking soda, salt, vanilla, milk & eggs.

Step 3Stir in flour, oats, coconut & sesame seeds.

Step 4Fold in apricot pieces.

Step 5Spread into a greased 13x9 baking pan & bake at 350' for about 25 minutes.

Step 6Cool & cut into bars.
