This is another great recipe that I found on one of my favorite websites called Heavenly Homemakers.
I love how it includes whole grains & healthy fats.

butter, melted
3/4 c
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
1 tsp
1/2 c
milk or buttermilk
2 large
2 c
whole wheat flour (i used freshly ground)
1 1/2 c
1/2 c
shredded coconut
1/4 c
sesame seeds
3/4 c
dried apricots, cut into small pieces

How to Make Apricot Bars


  • 1Combine the honey & butter in a bowl.
  • 2Add baking soda, salt, vanilla, milk & eggs.
  • 3Stir in flour, oats, coconut & sesame seeds.
  • 4Fold in apricot pieces.
  • 5Spread into a greased 13x9 baking pan & bake at 350' for about 25 minutes.
  • 6Cool & cut into bars.
