almond coconut granola
came up with this recipe, because I wanted to make a dessert topping ( great over yogurt or ice cream)and I had everything on hand.

Ingredients
- 2 cups oatmeal, uncooked
- 1 cup almonds, sliced
- 1 cup coconut, shredded & sweetened
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, light
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon almond extract
How To Make almond coconut granola

Step 1combine the oatmeal, almonds and coconut, spread out on a flat sheet and bake at 350 for about 15 mins...mixing half way

Step 2meanwhile,melt the butter with the brown sugar mix well, add the vanilla and almond extract. set aside

Step 3take out the granola mix from the oven and let cool ( about 5 mins) in a large bowl toss with the butter mixture and then spread out evenly in a large baking dish....put back in oven at 350 another 15-20 mins.....let cool...top your favorite yogurt, ice cream or just enjoy alone....yummy to the tummy
