  • 2 large
  • 2/3 c
    agave nectar
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    (1 stick) butter, melted
  • 1/2 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 c
    unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to Make Agave Brownies II


  1. Preheat oven to 350º F. Coat an 8x8-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Add agave and vanilla; mix well. Add melted butter.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients. Slowly add to batter, beating until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  4. Spread evenly in prepared pan. Bake 30-35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.
  5. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
