Turn an ordinary vanilla ice cream into something special with bits of turkish delight and pistachios.

Ingredients For turkish delight ice cream

  • 2 qt
    vanilla bean ice cream
  • 1/2 c
    rose or orange turkish delight, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    rose or orange water
  • pistachio nuts, chopped

How To Make turkish delight ice cream

  • 1
    Take ice cream out of freezer and let soften for 1/2 hour or until soft enough to blend with a spoon.

    Add the chopped turkish delight and rose or orange water. Mix well until delight is distributed evenly. If original ice cream cointainer is too small to do this, place ice cream in a larger freezer-safe container. Return to freezer.

    Serve as needed, sprinkled with chopped pistachios.
