I had gone to Trader Joes and purchased some peaches and some peach champagne. I had been wanting to try grilling peaches and saw the peach champagne and thought it would make a good glaze. So home I went and this is the glaze I came up with, and boy oh boy is it every yummy. The glaze or sauce can be used not only on peaches but it is absolutely delicious on French Toast, and Ice Cream. I hope you give it a try and let me know what you think.

How to Make Saucy Peach glaze

  1. Melt butter in heavy sauce pan
  2. add brown sugar and stir until completely incorporated with the butter
  3. Add the peach champagne; stir and bring to boil. While stirring continue to boil for approx. 3 minutes. Reduce heat to low and allow the mixture to reduce. I let mine go for about 30 to 40 mins.
  4. Once cooked allow to cool. Store covered in the refrigerator.
