Part Smoothie, part slushy, this drink is refreshing for any time! By adding a few things, this is a great Breakfast drink, or by itself, a refreshing beverage thicker than a drink, but not quite there for a thicker smoothie.

Ingredients

banana, frozen and broken into chunks
1 c
(8oz) strawberry yogurt or (plain low fat yogurt)
1/2 c
frozen raspberries
1/4 c
frozen blueberries (or blackberries)
1 c
frozen strawberries
1 Tbsp
honey or splenda packet
1/8 tsp
cinnamon (or a dash)
3/4 c
apple juice or orange juice
1/4 c
splash cranberry juice, about 2-3 tbsp
1/2 c
ice, about 5 or so

OPTIONAL ITEMS TO ADD FOR BREAKFAST DRINK

1/4 c
cooked quick oatmeal
1 Tbsp
flax
1 Tbsp
benefiber
1 Tbsp
wheat germ

How to Make Raz'anana "Smushy"

Step-by-Step

  • 1Pour banana into blender and pulse a few times. Add raspberries and blueberries and half of the ice and pulse. Add juice, honey, cinnamon and rest of ice and blend about 15-30 seconds. Add a splash more juice if needed.
  • 2For Breakfast drink:
    After above has been completed, add oatmeal, flax and benefiber if you wish, and blend about 15 seconds to combine.
