Ingredients
- 4 packages frozen raspberries in syrup, partially thawed (10 ounces each)
- 4 cups half and half
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 tablespoons grated lemon rind
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
How To Make raspberry ice cream

Step 1Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl; stir until the sugar dissolves.

Step 2Pour the mixture into the freezer container of a 5-quart hand-turned or electric ice cream freezer.

Step 3Freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions. Pack freezer with additional ice and rock salt, and let stand 1 hour before serving.
