This is a great way to cool off after a long day of heat and humidity!!

Ingredients

  • 1 - seedless baby watermelon
  • 1 medium cantaloupe
  • 1/2 cup orange flavored liquor,vodka, tequila or rum (optional)
  • many - sucker sticks

How To Make mom & pop melon pops

  • Step 1
    Cut melons in 1/2 and scoop out seeds. Using a melon baller or small ice cream scoop, carve out several melon balls,using only the flesh of the fruit.(or just cut 1-inch squares). If desired, gently poke 3 small holes into fruit with a toothpick or use a fork and soak in liquor of your choice for 3-5 minutes; shake off excess liquid. Insert sucker stick into flat side of melon ball. Layering various varieties of melon on each stick. Freeze for at least 2 hours or make the night before.Keep on hand for a cool treat for guests too !
