- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 pint half-and-half

Step 1Combine lemon juice , zest and sugar into a medium bowl amd stir well. Let stand for 30 minutes. Add half-and-half and stir. Pour mixture into the container of an ice cream maker and follow directions for freezing. Pack the ice cream into a container, cover and freeze for 24 hours. Makes 3-4 servings.
