I am always on the look out for caramel sauces. I would like to have a soft caramel popcorn recipe. I haven't found one I like yet. Anyone has one please let me know. :-)

Ingredients

5 tablespoons butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup half and half
1 pinch salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- vanilla ice cream

How To Make hot caramel ice cream topping

Step 1

Over low heat melt together butter and brown sugar until smooth in heavy saucepan.

Step 2

Stir in salt; stir in half and half; simmer 4 minutes. Remove from heat.
Step 3

Serve over ice cream.Or anything else you can find to drizzle it on. :-)
