- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup half & half
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
How To Make honey sauce for ice cream

Step 1Heat the honey, sugar, half and half, butter, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Gently whisk for 5 to 7 minutes until sauce thickens.

Step 2Turn off the heat. Stir in the vanilla and cool slightly.

Step 3Pour into an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use.

Step 4Gently reheat sauce and serve over ice cream or cake.
