Another favorite from the Deen Brothers. Heres an old favorite made into an adult version. I think you will like this one.

Ingredients

  • 1 large banana, peeled and splint lengthwise
  • 1 tablespoon packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 small scoop of vanilla ice cream
  • 1 small scoop chocolate ice cream
  • 1 small scoop strawberry ice cream
  • 1 bottle chocolate sauce
  • 1 bottle caramel sauce
  • 1 can whipped cream
  • 1 jar maraschino cherries

How To Make bruleed banana split

  • Step 1
Preheat broiler. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil.Lay the banana halves , cut sides down, on the baking sheet. Sprinkle each half with 1 1/2 teaspoons of the brown sugar. Broil 4 to 5 inches from the heat about 2 minutes or until the sugar melts and starts to bubble. [watch closely to make sure they don't burn]
  • Step 2
Place the scoops of ice cream in a bowl [a long banana split bowl if you have one] and place the banana halves on either side. Top with chocolate and caramel sauces to taste, then the whipped cream and as many cherries as you can handle.
