sweet-tart cranberry bars
12 oz pkg whole cranberries
packed, light brown sugar
1Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 13" baking pan w/ cooking spray. In saucepan, over medium heat, combine cranberries, white sugar and water. Stir until cranberries pop and sauce thickens.
2In lg bowl, mix together cake mix, butter and eggs. Stir in oats, brown sugar, ginger and cinnamon. Set aside 1-1/2 cups mix. Spread remaining mix into bottom of pan, packing it down good.
3Spread cranberry mix over crust. Sprinkle cranberry mix w/ remaining reserved cake mix. Bake 35-40 mins, or until top is lightly browned. Cool. Slice into bars.
