This is a summer favorite in our house. It's such a great play on sweet and salty, crunchy and creamy textures.

Ingredients

2 2/3 c
coarsely chopped pretzels
1 1/2 stick
butter, melted
12 oz
light cream cheese
1 1/4 c
sugar
1 large
package of frozen strawberries, sliced
3/4 pkg
large cool whip
1 large
package of strawberry jello
2 c
pineapple juice

How to Make Sweet and Salty Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix pretzels and butter and press into a 9"x13" pan. Bake at 400F for 10 minutes.

    Remove from oven.
  • 2Beat cream cheese and sugar together, then spread over the still warm pretzel crust.

    Let mixture cool.
  • 3Dissolve the strawberry jello in boiling pineapple juice, add the frozen sliced strawberries. Pour over the cream cheese mixture.
  • 4Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until gelatin is set. Before serving, spread cool whip over the strawberry jello layer.
