1 1/2 c
vanilla wafer crumbs
1/4 c
flaked sweet coconut
finely chopped pecans or your choice
1/3 c
melted butter
3 pkg
8 oz light cream cheese
1 c
icing sugar
1/4 c
fresh lime juice
1 tsp
each grated lime zest and vanilla
2 1/2 c
quartered strawberries
22 tsp
granulated sugar
strawberries cut in half
2 Tbsp
nuts of your choice

How to Make strawberry tart


  • 1In bowl combine wafer crumbs coconut nuts and melted butter stir til well combined press into bottom and sides of 9 inch tart pan with removable bottom bake in 350 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes and golden brown..remove from oven and let quickly cool baked crust put into freezer for about and ready to fill.
  • 2FILLING...Beat cream with electric beater until light and fluffy gradually add sugar and mix til well combined,add lime juice, rind and vanilla mix til smooth...spoon over cooled crust refrigerate for 2 hours or until set and thoroughly cilled.
  • 3BERRY SAUCE...In bowl combine berries and sugar,,let stand for about 15 minutes,,crush with fork..
  • 4GARNIsh.....arrange cut berries on top of tart..sprinkle the nuts over that..cut into wedges and spoon sauce over...a little whipped cream also adds to this tart..keep refrigerated..Enjoy...
