2 smallor 1 very ripe banana

2 capplesauce, unsweetened

3 Tbsplight butter

2 largeeggs ( or egg beaters)

2 tsppure vanilla extract

2 coatmeal
-
1 cwhole wheat flour
-
1 call- purpose flour
-
3/4 tspbaking soda
-
pinchsalt
-
1/2 tspnutmeg
-
3/4 craisins or currants
-
1/2 tspcinnamon
-
1/2 cwalnuts
How to Make (SNACKS ON THE RUN.) OATMEAL high fiber cookies
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350* .
COMBINE bananas , applesauce, butter,eggs, and vanilla . - IN LARGE BOWL MIX TOGETHER OATMEAL , flour, baking soda salt,spices and currants ,or raisins.
- ADD COMBINED FRUIT MIXTURE TO DRY INGREDIENTS,UNTIL JUST BLENDED.
DROP by round tablespoonfuls ,onto ungreased cookie sheets.
BAKE IT FOR 25 minutes or until golden brown. - ENJOY IT AND CUT INTO BARS SHAPE AND STORE IT IN A TIGHT CONTANER
