Ingredients
- 8 - granny smith apples, peeled, sliced
- 1-1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3/4 cup milk, i used 2%
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1-1/2 cup heart healthy bisquick baking mix
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons cold butter
How To Make slow cooked apple struesel

Step 1In lg bowl, toss together apples, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. Place in slow cooker. In another bowl, combine milk, soft butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and 1/2 bisquick mix.

Step 2Spoon mix over apples. In same bowl, wiped clean, combine remaining bisquick mix and brown sugar. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.

Step 3Sprinkle over mix in slow cooker. Cover, cook on low 6 hrs, or until apples are tender. I serve w/ whipped cream. But ice cream is good too.
