How to Make Roasted Pear Sauce
- 1Wash pears. Put into a roasting pan.
- 2Bake for about an hour in a 350 degree oven. You can tell the pears are ready when you insert a sharp knife and turn it. If the pear is mushy, it's ready. Remove from the oven.
- 3Scoop the pears into a food mill or a potato ricer to remove the skins, seeds, and stems. Add cinnamon and nutmeg to taste.
- 4This is wonderful chilled with whipped cream. Great for babies and children. Try doing this with your favorite apples. No sugar needed.
