quick fruit salad

I, myself, have not made this, but have eaten it. This recipe and these amounts serve about 100 people. This is quick,& easy to prepare and very tasty. As I have never made this myself, I dont know, but I am almost positive that substitutions can be made, maybe substitute fruit cocktail for mandarin oranges. Let imagination fly. Hope some one can use this.

Ingredients
- 10 cans - 20 oz each, pineapple chunks, drained
- 10 cans - 21 oz each, peach pie filling
- 10 cans - 11 oz each, mandarin oranges, drained
- 5 cups - each red and green marischino cherries, drained
- 10 cups - sliced bananas, add bananas last
How To Make quick fruit salad

Step 1Combine all ingredients, except bananas. Chill until ready to serve. Cover and refrigerate.

Step 2Just before serving, fold in bananas. Serve with dollop of whipped topping.

Step 3This recipe seems very forgiving. As I said, I believe it would be fine to make substitutions or to add different items.
