Ingredients
- 4 slices fresh pineapple, 1/2 inch thick each
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar (see note)
- 1/4 cup ruby port (or madeira)
- - fresh mint leaves, for garnish
How To Make pineapple with port (ananas ao porto)

Step 1Place each slice pineapple on dessert plate; sprinkle with sugar. NOTE: If pineapple is very sweet, omit the sugar.

Step 2Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of the port over each pineapple slice. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours.

Step 3Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
