4 slicefresh pineapple, 1/2 inch thick each
2 tspgranulated sugar (see note)
1/4 cruby port (or madeira)
fresh mint leaves, for garnish
How To Make pineapple with port (ananas ao porto)
1Place each slice pineapple on dessert plate; sprinkle with sugar. NOTE: If pineapple is very sweet, omit the sugar.
2Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of the port over each pineapple slice. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours.
3Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
