This recipe is great as a side dish with ham or pork. It's also good to eat as a dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 large can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine melted
  • 1/2 cup ritz cracker crumbs

How To Make pineapple au gratin

  • Step 1
    Preheat over to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 8" x 8" casserole or pan. (I use PAM)
  • Step 2
    Mix pineapple, cheese, sugar and flour. Pour into 8 inch square casserole. Pour melted butter over pineapple mixture and stir.
  • Step 3
    Top with Ritz cracker crumbs. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. This recipe may be doubled using a 9" x 13" pan/dish. Can be served hot or cold. Great at pot lucks!
