peach pudding
Its not a cobbler but something similar. Rich ! Yummy peachy concoction. I think its from the Tennessee area. All the syrup you make and pour over the batter turns into a creamy caramel covering the peaches and just enough of the dough .. This is not the doughy type cobbler. And if ya like cobblers you'll love this.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cups water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup sugar cinnamon mixture
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 5 cups peaches
How To Make peach pudding

Step 1Peel and cut peaches ( you can used canned if not in season)

Step 2Pour water in a pan and add 3/4 c of brown sugar and sugar. nutmeg. Butter . bring to boil over med high . stir and boil 1 minute turn heat off stir in vanilla

Step 3mix flour. Baking powder. 1 c sugar. cinnamon. Salt. Nutmeg add milk vanilla peaches and mix. It will be semi stiff.

Step 4Pour flour peach mix into a greased pan 13x9 and spread evenly Slowly pour syrup mix on top of flour mixture DO NOT STIR. you want it separated

Step 5Bake in 400° preheated oven 50 minutes. Allow to rest for 30 minutes after taking it out of oven. Serve with ice cream. Whip cream clotted cream or just eat it as is!
