This recipe is a camping favorite, because it's super easy to make in a dutch oven. It works well on the stove top, too. This is a big family favorite and there are never any leftovers!

Add to Grocery List

  • 2 can(s)
    unsweetened peaches, do not drain
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 1 stick
    butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp
    corn starch
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 can(s)
    refrigerated biscuits

How to Make Peach Dumplings (Sugar free)

  1. Roll each biscuit somewhat flat (not going for prettiness or evenness since we are making dumplings). Slice each rolled biscuit into bite-sized strips. In a dutch oven, combine the peaches, juice, milk, Splenda, and butter.
  2. Heat over medium heat just to boiling. When the mixture begins to boil, drop the dumplings in one at a time. Let simmer about 15 minutes. If the juice is not thick enough for your taste, mix a small amount of corn starch with cold water and stir in the hot mixture until thickened to suit you.
