Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup self rising flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 can peaches with syrup
How To Make peach cobbler
-
Step 1Melt stick of butter in microwave safe proof bowl. While melting butter, empty peaches in saucepan,(syrup, also) I usually add 1/2 cup water to have more liquid. Leave on heat until all other ingredients are mixed.
-
Step 2Add flour, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and egg to melted butter. Add egg last, so you don't have scrambled eggs in it. LOL Mixture will be kinda sticky. Pour in baking dish and spread over the bottom. Pour hot peaches over this and you can sprinkle a little cinnamon on top if you like it.
-
Step 3Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until dough has risen and golden brown. Good to take to get-togethers. and also, with some good vanilla ice cream.
