My mom "threw" this together for unexpected company a few decades ago. It became a family favorite being used at many get-togethers like baby and bridal showers and church pot-lucks. So easy and delicious!

white dry cake mix

cherry pie filling
1 stick
soft butter
1/2 c
pecans, chopped

How to Make Mom's Cherry Crunch


  • 1Pour both cans of cherry pie filling into 9x13 cake pan
  • 2Mix soft butter and chopped pecans with dry white cake mix and spread over cherries.
  • 3Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm or cool. Tastes great both ways. Really good with mixed nuts.
