Mixed Fruits Oatbar

apple(s) (cored and cut into cubes)
1 - 2
peach(es) (cut into cubes)

maraschino cherries (drained and chopped)
1/2 c
butter (melted)
3/4 c
oats (instant cooking)
1 c
brown sugar
1/2 c
all purpose flour
1/2 tsp
allspice / cinnamon powder
1/2 c
coarsely chopped walnuts
1 tsp
orange zest


1Cut fruits into cubes and chill them. (Feel free to experiment with fruits of your favourite).
2In a large bowl, add melted butter, brown sugar, oats, flour, walnuts,allspice and orange zest. Mix all together using "rubbing-in method".
3Arrange fruits in a microwave-safe container and press the dough evenly over the fruits.
4Cook over medium high for 15 minutes.
