marshmallow fruit fluff

This is another fluffy fruit salad that my mother has made every year at Christmas as long as I can remember. It just aint Christmas without Mom's Fluff! Very pretty in a glass bowl, and the red and green marischino cherries really make this festive. However, the green is optional as this would be good ANY time of the year!

Ingredients
- 1 - package of miniature marshmallows
- 15 ounces can of crushed pinapple- undrained
- 2 cans mixed fruit cocktail- drained well.
- 2 - crts. cool whip
- 1 jar red maraschino cherries-drained well
- 1 jar green maraschino cherries-drained well
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (opt)
How To Make marshmallow fruit fluff

Step 1In large serving bowl, stir marshmallows, undrained pineapple, and fruit cocktail until mixed well. Cover and refrigerate overnight! (This allows the pineapple juice to soak the marshmallows so they will expand)

Step 2Day 2: Drain any remaing liquid from the bowl using a collander. There shouldn't be much. Return back to bowl and fold in both cartons of coolwhip.

Step 3Fold in nuts and drained cherries into mixture last. Serves a crowd!!
