Ingredients

  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    lite sour cream
  • 1 large
    egg
  • 1-1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 c
    sugar-free strawberry jam
  • 2 Tbsp
    light brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    chopped walnuts

How to Make Lighter strawberry bars

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 375. Spray a 9" x 13" baking pan w/ cooking spray. In bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Beat in sour cream and egg. Beat in both flours, 1/2 cup at a time.
  2. Press 1-1/4 cups dough into bottom of baking pan. Spread jam evenly over dough. Pat remaining dough over jam.
  3. Sprinkle top evenly w/ brown sugar and walnuts. Bake for 35 mins, cool. Cut into bars.
