This makes a lemon syrup for a variety of uses. I love all things lemon.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice

How To Make lemon syrup

  • Step 1
    combine sugar and water in small saucepan and stir. bring to boil over medium heat and boil for five minutes.
  • Step 2
    remove pan from heat, stir in lemon juice and cool to room temp. chill for a couple of hours before using.
  • Step 3
    this will store in the refridgerator for 3-4 weeks. you can add 4 tbls of syrup to 8 ounces of seltzer to make lemon soda.
