This is a great twist on French toast-- This Honey Vanilla Creme Stuffed French Toast is an elegant and delicious sandwich using a classic recipe! Note: You can use Parisian Almond Creme coffee mate liquid for the low-fat milk but only use 1/2 cup, not the 1/3 cup.

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup low-fat ricotta cheese
- 1/3 cup orange marmalade or your favorite preserves
- 12 slices firm day-old french bread cut 1/2- inch thick
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup 1% low-fat milk or 1/2 c. almond creme liquid milk
- 1/3 cup honey vanilla creme coffee mate liquid coffee creamer
- 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 12 slices cooked bacon- or pre cooked store bought
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- - maple syrup, heated or not
How To Make honey vanilla creme french toast

Step 1Combine ricotta cheese and preserves in a small bowl; mix well. spread mixture evenly over 6 bread slices. Place 2 or 3 sliced of cooked bacon on top and-Top with remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.

Step 2Beat eggs in shallow pan or pie plate, whisk in milk, Coffee-mate and vanilla extract. Whisk in flour and salt.

Step 3Heat large skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Swirl butter into hot skillet. dip sandwiches in egg mixture, coating both sides. Cook on each side for about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with maple syrup.
