Ingredients
- 4 medium sized, firm pears
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup gingersnap crumbs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- - half and half
How To Make ginger pear dessert

Step 1Peel and core the pears. Cut them in half lengthwise.

Step 2Place the pears, cut side up, in a buttered 11 x 7 x 1 1/2 inch baking dish. Pour the juice over the pears.

Step 3Combine the crumbs, sugar, pecans, and butter. Sprinkle over the pears.

Step 4Bake, uncovered, in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until tender. Serve with half and half.
