all purpose flour
1 c
quick-cooking oats
2/3 c
packed light brown sugar
1/4 tsp
baking soda
1/2 c
1 c
chunky applesauce, i used unsweetened
2/3 c
dried cranberries
1/2 tsp
ground cloves

How to Make Fruity oatmeal bars


  • 1Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 9" x 2" baking pan w/ cooking spray. In bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar and baking soda.
  • 2Cut in butter until mix resembles coarse crumbs. set aside 1/2 cup of mix. Press remaining mix into bottom of pan. In another bowl, mix together applesauce, cranberries, cinnamon and cloves.
  • 3Spread applesauce mix over crumbs in pan. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over applesauce mix. Bake 30 mins, or until top is golden. Cool. Cut into bars.
