Healthy, yet so yummy. My grandchildren love these.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup chunky applesauce, i used unsweetened
  • 2/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • dash ground cloves

How To Make fruity oatmeal bars

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 9" x 2" baking pan w/ cooking spray. In bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar and baking soda.
  • Step 2
    Cut in butter until mix resembles coarse crumbs. set aside 1/2 cup of mix. Press remaining mix into bottom of pan. In another bowl, mix together applesauce, cranberries, cinnamon and cloves.
  • Step 3
    Spread applesauce mix over crumbs in pan. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over applesauce mix. Bake 30 mins, or until top is golden. Cool. Cut into bars.
