Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup chunky applesauce, i used unsweetened
- 2/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- dash ground cloves
How To Make fruity oatmeal bars

Step 1Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 9" x 2" baking pan w/ cooking spray. In bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar and baking soda.

Step 2Cut in butter until mix resembles coarse crumbs. set aside 1/2 cup of mix. Press remaining mix into bottom of pan. In another bowl, mix together applesauce, cranberries, cinnamon and cloves.

Step 3Spread applesauce mix over crumbs in pan. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over applesauce mix. Bake 30 mins, or until top is golden. Cool. Cut into bars.
