Ingredients For fruit cobbler

  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 sm can
    evaporated milk (about 2/3 cup)
  • 1/3 c
    water
  • About 2 c
    fruit of your choice (peaches, blueberries, blackberries, apples, etc.)

How To Make fruit cobbler

  • 1
    Heat oven to 325 degrees. Add stick of butter to a loaf pan and put in the oven to melt.
  • 2
    While the butter melts, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, Evaporated milk and water together.

    Remove loaf pan from the oven. Pour the mixture into the pan with the butter, DO NOT MIX.
  • 4
    Add desired fruit, DO NOT STIR.
  • 5
    Bake for 45 mins to an hour, until golden brown on top. Serve warm.
