This recipe I got from my great aunt. It is very tasty.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 sm can evaporated milk (about 2/3 cup)
  • 1/3 cup water
  • About 2 cups fruit of your choice (peaches, blueberries, blackberries, apples, etc.)

How To Make fruit cobbler

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 325 degrees. Add stick of butter to a loaf pan and put in the oven to melt.
  • Step 2
    While the butter melts, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, Evaporated milk and water together.
  • Step 3
    Remove loaf pan from the oven. Pour the mixture into the pan with the butter, DO NOT MIX.
  • Step 4
    Add desired fruit, DO NOT STIR.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 45 mins to an hour, until golden brown on top. Serve warm.
