Thanks to my sister Deb, I have the easiest recipe for cobbler. She use to make this for us when berries came in. And also with canned fruit.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

1/4 c
butter, room temperature
1/2 c
sugar
1 c
all purpose flour
2 tsp
baking powder
2 c
fruit
1 c
cold water or fruit juice

How to Make Fruit Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix together butter, sugar, flour, and baking powder. Spread in bottom of buttered baking dish. 9x9 square.
  • 2Pour 2 cups of fruit over batter. Sprinkle with 1 cup of sugar. Pour 1 cup of cold water (or fruit juice) over all of it. Don't mix.
  • 3Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Any kind of berries can be used in this.
