1 stick
butter, melted
2 c
sugar (if you prefer less sugar, use one cup)
1 c
flour
1 1/4 tsp
baking powder
2/3 c
milk
1 tsp
vanilla or almond flavoring
dash of salt
4 c
fruit (frozen fruit works best)
baking dish (3 qt. at least)

How to Make Easy Yummy Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  • 1Melt the stick of butter in the baking pan you will use for baking. Mix 1 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, milk, vanilla and pour over melted butter but do not stir!
  • 2Pour 4 cups fruit over mixture and sprinkle with remaining one cup sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • 3Note: I like to mix peaches and berries for this cobbler. I prefer 2 cups of sugar as the frozen fruit is not always "sweet" for our taste. You can also double this recipe for a large crowd serving.
