Ingredients For easy yummy cobbler

  • 1 stick
    butter, melted
  • 2 c
    sugar (if you prefer less sugar, use one cup)
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2/3 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla or almond flavoring
  • dash of salt
  • 4 c
    fruit (frozen fruit works best)
  • baking dish (3 qt. at least)

How To Make easy yummy cobbler

    Melt the stick of butter in the baking pan you will use for baking. Mix 1 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, milk, vanilla and pour over melted butter but do not stir!

    Pour 4 cups fruit over mixture and sprinkle with remaining one cup sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes, or until golden brown.

    Note: I like to mix peaches and berries for this cobbler. I prefer 2 cups of sugar as the frozen fruit is not always "sweet" for our taste. You can also double this recipe for a large crowd serving.
