I like this recipe because you can change it up so easily. Just add any fruit that you like. Canned or fresh, its perfect either way.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups self rising flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, cold
- 1 large egg
- 3 cups sliced, fresh plums, peaches, apples (about 1 1/2 pounds)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons butter-melted
How To Make easy fruit kuchen

Step 1HEAT oven to 375. Coat 13x9 metal baking pan with non stick cooking spray.

Step 2COMBINE flour and 1/2 cp of sugar in large bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or two butter knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Beat milk and egg with fork just until blended. Stir into flour mixture with fork just until moistened. Spread evenly in prepared pan. Overlap slices of fruit. Drizzle with melted butter.

Step 3BAKE 28-35 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature...Also good served with Ice cream.
