I found this amongst pages of recipes that I was cleaning. I forgot all about it and how could I? It was so delicious!!

  • 1 c
    minute rice white or brown
  • 1 can(s)
    apple pie filling
  • 1 c
    brown sugar-divided
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 c
    walnuts chopped
  • 1 1/2 c
    rolled oats
  • 2 Tbsp

How to Make Cinnamon Apple Rice Crisp


  1. Prepare rice according to package directions. Preheat oven to 350 and spray a 2 quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
  2. Combine rice, 1/2 cup brown sugar, apple pie filling, cinnamon, raisins and walnuts in a bowl. Pour into prepared dish. In same bowl prepare 1/2 cup brown sugar and oats. Blend in butter mixing well until mixture is moist.
  3. Sprinkle over rice mixture. Bake 20 minutes.
