Ingredients

  • 1 can(s)
    cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 stick
    butter
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/3 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How to Make Chocolate-Cherry Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. place butter in oven in a 8x8 pan and melt.
  3. Sift the flour with with baking powder and salt, sugar and cocoa powder.
  4. Stir in milk and vanilla.
  5. Spread dough into casserole with the melted butter.
  6. Drop cherry pie filling on top by spoonfuls on top of the batter.
  7. Bake 25-30 minutes. .
  8. Serve warm topped with chocolate or vanilla ice cream.
