  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make chocolate-cherry cobbler

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Step 2
    place butter in oven in a 8x8 pan and melt.
  • Step 3
    Sift the flour with with baking powder and salt, sugar and cocoa powder.
  • Step 4
    Stir in milk and vanilla.
  • Step 5
    Spread dough into casserole with the melted butter.
  • Step 6
    Drop cherry pie filling on top by spoonfuls on top of the batter.
  • Step 7
    Bake 25-30 minutes. .
  • Step 8
    Serve warm topped with chocolate or vanilla ice cream.
