I whipped this together when I needed to use up some cherries before they went bad.

Ingredients
- 3 cups cherries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup butter, room temperature
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup pecans, in pieces
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
How To Make cherry pecan crisp

Step 1Preheat oven to 375.

Step 2Mix together, cherries, sugar, corn starch and vanilla and place in 8x8 inch glass baking dish.

Step 3Mix together remaining ingredients and sprinkle over top of cherries.

Step 4Bake for 35 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
