Ingredients

  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tubes refrigerated crescent rolls (8 oz each)
  • 1/3 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup Code Red Mountain Dew

How To Make cherry dew dumplings

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth.
  • Step 2
    Unroll both tubes of crescent dough and separate into 16 triangles. Place 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture in the center of each triangle; top with 1 teaspoon pie filling.
  • Step 3
    Fold points of the short side over filling; wrap the remaining point around the dumpling. Pinch seams to seal.
  • Step 4
    Transfer dumplings to a 13x9-inch baking dish.
  • Step 5
    In a small bowl, mix sugar and butter; pour over dumplings.
  • Step 6
    Pour Mountain Dew around dumplings.
  • Step 7
    Bake, uncovered, 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
