AWESOME, OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS! NOT FOR CHILDREN.... A Christmas tradition of mine - - I have made these every year since 1975 for all my adult family members.

Ingredients For brandied peaches

  • 2 can
    peach halves (1 lb. 13 oz.each)
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    peach brandy
  • 3 to 4
    drops of almond extract

How To Make brandied peaches

  • 1
    Drain the peaches & reserve 1 cup of the juice. Place peaches in a sterilized 1 quart glass jar.

    Boil the reserved peach juice until it is reduced to 1/2 cup. Add 1/2 cup of the sugar & 1/2 cup of the brandy to the juice. Mix well. Add the almond extract & let cool.

    Pour the brandy syrup over the peaches in the jar; & seal.

    I normally make them at least two weeks before I give them away or eat them.... they go good with ham! OR by them self. THE LONGER THEY SIT THE BETTER THEY ARE!
