This is another recipe I got from The Blueberry Farm in my hometown. The recipes they pass out are voted the best by the their customers. Pound cakes are so versatile and adding blueberries or cranberries to them makes them a little special.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup blueberries

How To Make blueberry pound cake/by aunt bertha's family recipe

  • Step 1
    Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract. Gradually add the sifted flour, salt, baking powder to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Dredge berries in flour till covered. With a spatula fold berries into creamed mixture.
  • Step 2
    Bake in greased and floured loaf pan at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
