Ingredients
- 1 can pitted black cherries
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon lemon juice, fresh
How To Make black cherry glace for cheesecake or ice cream

Step 1Strain the juice from the can of black cherries and set aside to thicken into sauce

Step 2In a small sauce pan, add the corn starch to the cold juice, then heat to thicken

Step 3Add the sugar and the lemon and cook for 15 minutes

Step 4Allow to cool then gently add the cherries back into the sauce and spoon over cheesecake or ice cream... or whatever!
